OPUS SMS FAQ

Sender ID is the code you enter in Opus Dental before you start using the service for the first time. If you want it sent again, you can fill out the form further down this page.

The dentist should use the same sender ID that the clinic already has. That is, one ID per clinic.

You are probably sending multiple SMS messages per message. A message and an SMS are not the same. An SMS can contain a maximum of 160 characters (SMS rule, 21st or Opus cannot influence this). If you send a message longer than 160 characters to the patient, it will appear as one message on the patient's mobile, but consists of 2 or more SMSs, depending on the number of characters.

There is a limit of 11 characters in the SMS protocol, and nothing we or anyone else can do about it.

There are different reasons why this happens. Many times it is solved by updating Opus Dental. Note that this rarely has to do with the SMS service, but with the configuration / version of Opus Dental. Therefore, please contact their support first: support@opusdental.com or 66776040.
