By sending a reminder to the patient, the number of «no-show» patients decreases. An empty chair benefits neither the clinic's finances nor your patients. For every patient who does not show up for their appointment, you could have helped another. An SMS reaches the patient immediately and is often read within a couple of minutes, therefore it is a very effective channel to grab the patient's attention.
